BUMI overhauls its board of directors

IDX-listed PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) overhauled its board of directors (BOD) in annual shareholders general meeting on Friday and appointed Saptari Hoedaya as the President Director.
The other members of BOD are Eddie J. Soebari, RA Sri Darmayanti, Kenneth P Farrel, Andrew Beckham and Dileep Srivastava.
BUMI shareholders agreed not to distribute the dividend because the company posted US$666.209 million of net loss in 2012, compared with US$ 216.290 million of net profit in 2011.
"The net loss was caused by some factors and declining coal price in 2012 is one of the factors," BUMI Director and Corporate Secretary Dileep Srivastava said.
