Bumi plans shares buy-back

Coal-mining house PT.Bumi Resources Tbk. is planning to buy back shares to increase shareholders? value, company president said.

Bumi president Ari S. Hudaya said the buy back move was planned due to an increase in the company?s revenue.

Until the first half of the year, the company had booked sales of Rp 6.7 trillion (US$670 million), a significant increase from year ago sales of Rp 4.1 trillion.

The company did not disclose the volume of shares it planned to buy back. (alex)
