Bumi Plc announces Board changes at PT Bumi Resource Minerals and PT Berau

Shareholders' extraordinary general meeting of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) has appointed Samin Tan, the current Chairman of Bumi Plc, as President Director of BRMS, replacing Ken Farrel.
BRMS is a company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) and is 87% owned by PT Bumi Resources Tbk.
In addition, at PT Berau Coal Energy Tbk's (PT Berau) extraordinary general meeting held on 30th April 2012, Samin Tan was appointed as Commissioner of PT Berau and Scott Merrillees, Bumi Plc's Chief Financial Officer, was appointed to the Board of PT Berau as its Chief Financial Officer.
