Bumi Plc says Rothschild resigns

UK-listed mining firm Bumi plc announced that Nathaniel Rothschild, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has today resigned from the Board of the Company with immediate effect. The company in the statement to the LSX did not elaborate.

Bumi earlier announced that its non-executive director Ary Hudaya resigned from the board. Ari however denied the statement of his resignation, saying "I don't resign (from Bumi)."

Bumi earlier reported that it has deployed an independent investigation on IDX-listed coal mining giant PT Bumi Resources Tbk over alleged irregularities, saying that the area of focus of the investigation will be the development funds of Bumi Resources, Bumi plc said.
