Bumi reports increased earnings

JSX-listed PT.Bumi Resources on Thursday reported audited 2003 net earnings of Rp.146.87 billion (US$= Rp.8,600), higher than previous year?s net earnings of Rp.127.8 billion.
In 2003, the company booked sales of Rp.3.734 trillion vs Rp.2.43 trillion in 2002. The company did not give operations detail.
Bumi is parent company of Indonesian top coal miners PT. Kaltim Prima Coal and PT.Arutmin Indonesia. (alex)
