Bumi Resources denies issuing new shares

Indonesia-listed biggest coal producer company PT Bumi Resources,Tbk said that the company has no plan to issue new shares with rights.

Dileep Srivastava, Director and Corporate Secretary Bumi Resources stated on a press statement that the reality is that the management of Bumi Resources is open to various options to reduce debt whilst enhancing shareholders value.

"Regarding pre-emptive issue without rights we can explore the possibility once we find a notable strategic partner," he said
