Bumi Resources expects 85m output in 2013

IDX-listed coal giant PT Bumi Resources Tbk has stated it expects to produce 85 million tons of coal in 2013. Dileep Srivastava, Director and Corporate Secretary at Bumi Resources told Petromindo.com that the company is optimistic about the target.

"Infrastructure development in mine site in KPC and Arutmin have mostly been completed as one of the steps in eyeing 100 millions tons of output in 2014," he said.

Dileep revealed that the company has produced about 16 million tons of coal during the first quarter of the year. He added that the company produced about 33 million tons of coal throughout the first semester of this year, targeting up to 75 million tons of output or higher until the end of this year. The company produced a total of 65.9 million tons last year.
