Bumi Resources hit record production in January

Indonesia?s biggest coal mining company PT Bumi Resources said that sales volume in January of this year reached 5.5 million tons following record production of 6.6 million tons.

Director and Corporate Secretary of Bumi Resources Dileep Srivastava told Petromindo.com Friday that despite the very wet season and shorter month in February, the company expected coal production in the first quarter of this year to reach more than 19 million tons.

"Pro rata this translates to an annualized sales volume of 76 million tons, compared with guidance of 74/75 million tons set for year of 2013" he added.
