Bumi Resources sets 2010 production target at 66MT

GM Marketing Herlan Siagian told Petromindo.Com on a side line of a conference in Singapore that its East Kalimantan coal mine unit PT Kaltim Prima Coal will produce 44 million tonnes and 22 million tonnes would come from South Kalimantan unit PT Arutmin Indonesia.
Bumi produced 58 million tonnes of coal in 2009.
Herlan said that the Company will set aside 20 percent of 2010 production for domestic consumption.
He also said that thus far Bumi has secured 6-7 million tonnes of coal supply contract to China. Last year, he said, Bumi exported 13 million tonnes of coal to China.
?We?re hoping to increase coal export to China this year as most of Bumi?s export to China are on spot basis,? he said. (denny)
