Bumi Resources to drill 3 Yemen exploration wells in 2006

Indonesian energy firm PT.Bumi Resources Tbk may drill 3 exploration wells in its Yemen exploration blocks next year, the company said in a report.
In an exploration report filed with The Jakarta Stock Exchange Friday the company said its unit Gallo Oil (Jersey) Ltd. would drill 2 wells in R-2 block after it had identified several drilling prospects in the area. The company said drilling tender documentation is currently being prepared.
The company also said it may drill 1 well in Block 13 following the completion of 300-km seismic survey and 1300-km seismic data reprocessing. (alex)
