Bumi seeks for higher coal sales next year

Indonesia?s largest coal producer PT Bumi Resources Tbk said on Thursday that its coal sales volume for next year would increase by 10-12 percent compared to this year?s target of 60-61 million tons.

Bumi head of investor relations, Dileep Srivastava said that average selling price for next year would also be higher compared to this year?s average price target of US$70 per ton.

But he did not give the figure of what the average price for next year will be.

For nine months of 2010, Bumi?s coal sales volume reached 45 million tons, he said, but ?for sure we will release our nine mouth coal production and sales by the end of this November,? he added. (denny)
