Bumi Suksesindo to start gold production in E. Java end 2016

Gold mining firm PT Bumi Suksesindo aims to start production at its Gunung Tumpang Pitu concession in Pesanggaran District, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, at the of 2016.
Company General Manager for External Affairs, Kanen, was quoted by Kompas.com as saying Friday that preparations are now underway to start construction process.
?In the first stage, only 194 hectares will be exploited. We actually obtain borrow and use permit of forest area covering 994-ha,? he said Thursday.
Production capacity in the first stage is around 2 million tons per year, with gold content of 0.9 grams per ton, he said. (*)
