Bumi warns further delay in separation with Bakrie family

LSE-listed mining firm Bumi Plc has warned of a further delay in the planned separation from the Bakrie Group and IDX-listed coal giant PT Bumi Resources Tbk.

Bumi said late last month that it was hoping to be able to send a circular relating to the proposed separation to investors in September, but this now looks unlikely.

?As previously stated, this is a complex transaction and there are certain items relating to the Separation that remain outstanding and are outside of the Company's control,? Bumi Plc said in a statement.

?While the company continues to work towards bringing the Separation to fruition as soon as possible based on the financial terms previously announced, as a result of ongoing discussions regarding these items there is less certainty around the timing and status of the separation.?
