C. Java IPP seeks long-term coal suppliers

PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia (?BPI?) is developing the Central Java Coal-Fired Power Project (the Project?), a 2 x 1,000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power plant which is scheduled to achieve commercial operation in 2017. The Project will consume approximately 8 million tonnes of sub-bituminous coal annually, and BPI is seeking proposals from Indonesian coal producers to enter into long term supply agreements to supply coal to the Project, with first coal deliveries expected to occur in early 2016.

Indonesian coal producers who can fulfil the following basic requirements are invited to submit proposals. Please note that BPI will not accept proposals from agents or traders.

Basic Requirements
Minimum quantity to be contracted:1,000,000 tonnes per year Contract term: 5 years. plus up to 4 further terms of 5 years each at BPI?s sole option Reserves: Sufficient for mine life of 25 years minimum Production Capacity 5 million tonnes per year minimum Operational history 5 years minimum at no less than 5 million tonnes per year Experience: Must have experience supplying PLN and/or IPPs Pricing: CIF Central Java Coal Unloading Jetty by barge of 10000 to 15,000 DWT Bidders will be required to provide audited financial statements to demonstrate financial strength.

HHV (kcal/kg gar) : 4,140 min, 5,200 max
Total Moisture (arb) : 20% min, 38% max
HGI : 42 min, 60 max
Ash (adb) : 0% min, 10% max
Sulfur (adb) : 0% min, 0.6% max

Bidders may collect bid documents from the address below between 08:30 and 17:30 from March 8, 2012 through March 9, 2012, and shall submit proposals by 17:30 March 16.2012. Documents may be collected at the following address:
