Cakra Mineral teams up with Chinese firm

IDX-listed PT Cakra Mineral Tbk has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chinese mining firm China Zhe Jiang Baoli Mining Co Ltd (ZIBM) to cooperate in developing ferro nickel (FeNi) smelter in Indonesia.
The MoU was signed on June 12, 2014, Cakra said in a statement on Monday.
The firm did not provide details about the location of the smelter. It only said terms and conditions of the cooperation will be put in details in the cooperation agreement that will be signed by both companies.
