Cakra to acquire galena mining firm

IDX-listed mining company PT Cakra Mineral Tbk is in the process of acquiring a galena mining firm which operates in Ketapang, West Kalimantan.
Company Corporate Secretary Dexter Sjarif Putra said late last week that Cakra will acquire 80 percent stake in the company for an estimated value of US$1-1.5 million. He did not disclose the name of the targeted company.
?We have conducted due diligence, hopefully the negotiation could be completed soon,? he said.
He added that the company to be acquired operates a processing plant with a capacity of 1,000 tons per month. (*)
