Caltex among terrorist attack target: Antara

The state news agency Antara, quoting unidentified sources, said targets include two branches of the U.S.-owned Citibank in Jakarta, the offices of U.S.-oil company Caltex, the Australian International School and several supermarkets popular with foreigners.
Police chief Gen. Da'i Bachtiar said handwritten notes found in a rented room that had been used by Azahari bin Husin in west Java showed he was plotting a new bombing. A confession from a detained militant, Tohir, confirmed those plans, he said.
Bachitar, however, said possible targets were unknown.
Azahari is allegedly a leader and bombmaker for Jemaah Islamiyah, the al-Qaida linked terror group blamed for last year's Bali bombings, which killed 202 people, and the Aug. 5 blast at the J.W. Marriott hotel that killed 12 and wounded 150 others.
The British-trained engineer and a former university lecturer is believed to be on the run somewhere in Indonesia with fellow Malaysian terror suspect Noordin Mohamad Top. Both men narrowly escaped capture earlier this month in west Java.
"The confession of Tohir (shows) that six months after the attack of J.W. Marriott hotel, then (Azahari) will launch another," Bachtiar told reporters.
Tohir was arrested last month in west Java. He is accused of helping plan the Marriott blast.
Police in Indonesia have arrested scores of militants they say belong to Jemaah Islamiyah, including more than 30 over the Bali blasts. Some estimates say up to 2,000 others remain on the run in the world's most populous Muslim nation. (*)
