Caltex sends farmers to Bogor for training

Foreign oil and gas contractor PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia (CPI) sends some 180 farmers from the Riau province, and 60 agriculture extension officers to Bogor in West Java province to be trained.

The company said in a press release that the program was aimed at boosting the agriculture sector of the Riau province to help further improve the welfare of the local people.

Bogor is the center for agriculture technology in Indonesia.

CPI said that Riau had a huge agriculture potential because of its vast natural wealth.

CPI has been operating in Riau for 45 years in Riau province, one of Indonesia oil rich provinces.(*)
