Caltex to commence N. Sumatra exploration drilling

Caltex Pacific Indonesia (CPI), a wholly owned subsidiary of US oil giant ChevronTexaco said it would commence first exploration drilling in Kisaran PSC in North Sumatra in October or November this year.

CPI president Humayunbosha said that the company is making preparation for the drilling.

CPI is 100 percent interest holder in Kisaran block, which it acquired from the government in 2001. (alex)
