Cambodian Energy unveils coal supply, transportation tenders

TRANSPORTATION TO CAMBODIAN ENERGY LIMITED AT STEUNG HAV, SIHANOUK VILLE, CAMBODIA
Cambodian Energy Limited (?CEL?), a company majority owned by HNG Capital Sdn Bhd, intends to solicit tenders for coal supply and transportation to its 2x50MW (net) coal-fired power plant located at Village 2, Kampenh Commune, Steung Hay District, Preah Sihanouk Province, Kingdom of Cambodia. The expected consumption rate at base load is 400,000 tonnes per year, assuming a calorific value of 5,900 kcal/kg higher heating value (air dried). CEL desires to engage a coal supply and transportation contractor for a period of four (4) years from 2nd December.2O1 6 to 1 st December 2020. CEL requires that transportation of coal be accomplished by direct barging or suitable vessels depends on the quantity of each shipment. Due to the limited depth of water at the plant lefty, unloading shall be done by barge only.
We request your expression of interest (?EOI?) to participate in the solicitation of tenders by sending an EOI letter from the company together with a copy of d bank transfer receipt evidencing payment of a non-refundable fee of United States Dollars Five Hundred (USD 500.00) by no later than 5:00 pm (Cambodia Time) on 29th April 2016, via email to Mr. Tan Chin Jeen at celcoaltender.2016@leaderenergy.net CEL will email tender solicitation instructions and forms to bidder, who has returned the EOl with receipt of payment, from 5th April 2016.
