Cambridge Energy retires common stock

Cambridge Energy Corp, an oil & gas exploration and production company with producing properties in Louisiana and Indonesia, on Thursday announced that it has retired 2,030,414 shares of common stock.

Of the shares retired, the company received 1,830,414 shares in exchange for common stock the company held in a subsidiary. The remaining 200,000 shares received, and canceled, were previously issued for services which were in dispute. After the retirement of these shares, the company now has 16,975,823 common shares outstanding.

Cambridge Energy Corp. is engaged in the acquisition, development and operation of producing oil and natural gas properties with proven reserves.

In Indonesia, it has producing fields in Irian Jaya province. (alex)
