Canada's Innicor bags Unocal tools contract

Canadian oil, gas tools firm Innicor Subsurface Technologies Inc said it had recently signed, through its agent in Indonesia, a service contract with Unocal Indonesian Company for the supply of completion equipment in Indonesia. The term of the contract runs through June, 2007 with a total contract value of approximately US $500,000.

The contract calls for Innicor to supply downhole production packers and other completion tools in support of Unocal's drilling programs offshore East Kalimantan.

"While previous sales have been made by Innicor into Indonesia on the basis of one time shipments of product, the Unocal contract equipment will be stocked at a base facility in Balikpapan in East Kalimantan. This marks an important step forward for Innicor in its development of the Indonesian market in particular, and Asian generally," said the company. (alex)
