Canadian junior miner confirms license finalization in Riau coal properties

Toronto-based junior miner Aquarian Gold Corp. said that a further three licenses at Indragiri Hulu in the Riau coal basin had been issued.

The total area covered by issued licenses now totals over 42,000 ha, the company said in statement on Tuesday.

Another four licenses are expected to be issued imminently, bringing the total to substantially in excess of 50,000 ha.

The company said in the process of license formalization, it has been able to improve its ground holding position by amending license boundaries to include more of the ground it considers most prospective.

The Aquarian Gold Corporation is in process of changing the name to Aquarian Coal Corporation, the company added. (denny)
