Canadian junior exploration company Consolidated Spire Ventures said on Thursday it would no longer pursue its interest in the Cikatomas gold project in West Java. The company cited various political and safety reasons for not wishing to resume its work program on the property.
Earlier in February, the company said it would seek joint venture partner for the project.
According to the company?s website, Cikatomas property in West Java has to date returned numerous anomalies in stream sediment and soils and values up to 84.6 g/t gold in rock samples. Exploration to date has outlined a large zone of gold mineralization. (alex)
