Capitalinc set to drill two wells in December

IDX-listed firm Capitalinc Investment Tbk said it is set two drill two wells in South Sumatra and East Kalimantan in December of this year following completion of land acquisition for the drilling program.

?Land acquisition has been completed and will be followed with drilling site preparation,? the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Capitalinc said that drilling of AK-2 well in the Air Komering PSC, onshore South Sumatra, will be carried out in December, a slight delay from an earlier plan of September. The AK-2 well is specifically located in Sumber Ringin Village, Buay Pemaca District, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan Regency.

The company said it was also ready to drill the Bantuas-1 well at the Seinangka-Senipah block in East Kalimantan in December, a delay from the initial plan of October. The well is located in Bantuah Village, Loa Janan District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.

Capitalinc?s subsidiary PT Cahaya Batu Raja Blok has 100 percent interest in Air Komering PSC and another subsidiary PT Kutai Etam Petroleum has 90 percent interest in Seinangka-Senipah PSC.
