Carnarvon, partners to start W. Java drilling 2011/12

Australian EP firm Carnarvon Petroleum reported that it and partners in the Rangkas PSC exploration block onshore West Java expect to start exploration drilling at the block in 2011/12.
The Company said in a presentation released on Monday that 500-km 2D seismic will be acquired Q3/Q4 this year.
Carnarvon has 25 percent interest in the block with operator Swedish independent Lundin Petroleum controls 51 percent stake. The remaining balance is held by other Australian firm Tap Oil Limited. (alex)
