Infrastructure investment firm PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDI) (IDX: CDIA), through its logistics subsidiary PT SCG Barito Logistics (SBL), has signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (KBS) to explore cooperation in ISO tank storage, dry container storage and lift-on/lift-off (LOLO) cargo handling services at Krakatau International Port, Banten.

The agreement is aimed at expanding CDI's integrated logistics ecosystem by leveraging the infrastructure and services of both companies.

KBS, a subsidiary of state steel maker PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk (IDX: KRAS), operates an integrated logistics network that includes port operations, container depot services, sea transportation, rail transportation and land transportation.

Under the collaboration, SBL and KBS will evaluate opportunities to develop logistics services that support industrial supply chains and improve connectivity across Indonesia.

CDI said the partnership is expected to strengthen SBL's ability to provide end-to-end logistics solutions with greater efficiency, reliability and competitiveness for customers across multiple industries.

The company added that the cooperation aligns with its strategy to develop an integrated infrastructure and logistics platform while supporting supply chain operations, industrial competitiveness and economic growth in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
