Celukan Bawang may operate in 2014-2015

State owned utility firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) expects coal fired 3x130 MW PLTU Celukan Bawang to come on stream and strengthen Bali power grid in 2014-2015.
"This project has been struggling, but will now proceed again as we've heard recently from the IPP that manages the project that there has been injection of fresh funds," said Manager of Communications, Legal and Administration at PLN Bali Distribution Estie Paripurnadinie in Bali.
Estie said the Celukan Bawang would complete the first phase of the project, 1x130 MW, by February 2014.
