Cenko assigns consultant to review coal resources in Riau

Publicly listed company PT Central Korporindo International (Cenko) has appointed CV Insani Riau Bersama Consultant to carry out preliminary exploration of coal resources at Rakit Kulim district in Indragiri Hulu, Riau Province.
Cenko said in a statement to the Jakarta Stock Exchange on Monday the preliminary exploration is expected to be completed in October.
Cenko plans to build two units power plant in Rengat and Tembilahan areas of Riau Province with capacity of 2x7-megawatt each.
Cenko is looking for coal mining concessions to enable the company to secure coal stock for the power plants and to cut operation expenses. (Robert)
