JSX-listed PT Central Korporindo International Tbk (Cenko) is looking for a coal supplier who can supply around 10, 000 tons of coal per month from South Kalimantan mines to its planned coal-fired power plants, Bisnis Indonesia newspaper reported in its Monday edition.
Cenko president director Erry Indriyana said his company would need a stockpile of 35,000 tons of coal per month for the usage at its four power plants.
Erry said Cenko at present produces 15,000-25,000 tons of coal per month.
?From our production, it is not enough for the requirement of power plants. Therefore, we will be looking for coal supplier to plug the shortage,? Erry told Bisnis in Jakarta recently.
Cenko will build four coal-fired small-scale power plants in eastern part of Indonesia and it needs US$58 million investment. (*)
