Central Kalimantan contractor filed complaint against IMK over breach of contract

Labor supplier called CV Miftah in Central Kalimantan has filed a complaint at the local office of the ministry of labor affairs against gold mining firm PT Indo Muro Kencana (IMK), a subsidiary of Australia?s Aurora Gold, for breach of contract.
The local Banjarmasin Post daily quoted CV Miftah spokeswoman Rusmiyani as saying that IMK had unilaterally cancelled a 12-month contract with Miftah over the supply of 75 workers for IMK?s environmental division after three months.
She said that based on the contract, IMK must inform Miftah about the planned cancellation one month ahead in a written statement. IMK did not do this.
