Centris buys Rimau Shipping

IDX-listed firm PT Centris Multi Persada Tbk announced on Wednesday that it has signed a deal with affiliated parties to buy 65 percent shares of coal shipping firm PT Rimau Shipping for Rp 13.5 billion, or about US$1.2 million.
The company said the acquisition will complement the company?s coal trading unit PT Multi Mekar Lestari.
Centris had abandoned its ailing taxi business to concentrate on coal trading and shipping business.
