Cepu Block Q4 production averages 24,000 bopd

Oil production in Cepu Block, Central Java, during the fourth quarter of this year averaged more than 24,000 bopd, according to PT Pertamina EP Cepu, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina EP, the co-operator of the block together with Mobil Cepu Ltd.
Pertamina EP Cepu achieved the figure through the leasing of Early Production Facility at the Cepu Block.
?In the fourth quarter of 2012, the average production of Banyu Urip in the Cepu Block was more than 24,000 bopd, through leasing of EPF,? President Director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, Amril Thaib Mandailing told Petromindo.com Tuesday.
He added that the company in 2013 plans to drill 17 development wells. On stream gas development is projected to occur in the second quarter of 2017.
