French fully integrated geoscience company CGG Veritas will complete the processing of 3D seismic data obtained from the North West Tunu field of Mahakam block, East Kalimantan, which is operated by French firm Total E&P Indonesie (TEPI) in the middle of 2015.

?Processing of 3D seismic data in the Northwest Tunu is expected to be completed around June or July. Currently half of the data has been completed,? Vice President Geoscience and Reservoir of TEPI Noor Syarifuddin told Petromindo.com.

According to Noor, the cost for the data processing is not too high, less than US$1 million.

In October 2014, TEPI completed a 3D seismic survey covering an area of 590 sqkm in North West Tunu field. The seismic survey is carried out by PT BGP Indonesia, a subsidiary of Chinese survey and geophysical services firm BGP-CNPC.
