Chevron begins tender for Pre-FEED of IDD project

Chevron has started tender process to select contractor to carry out the Pre Front End-Engineering Design (Pre-FEED) of the second stage of the IDD project, covering Gehem and Gendalo fields, in East Kalimantan.
Wisnu Tahar, Head of Program and Communications Division at SKK Migas, was quoted by news portal katadata.co.id as saying that the tender process is expected to be concluded at the end of this month, or early November.
He said the Pre-FEED is expected to be completed within five months.
The budget for the Pre-FEED was approved by upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas in early September at US$3.3 million, lower than the $15 million proposed by Chevron.(*)
