Chevron drilling fourth well in Sapi field

Chevron Indonesia Company is currently drilling a fourth well of the 12 wells it planned to drill in the Sapi field in the East Kalimantan block.

?We have drilled three wells in the Sapi Field of the 12 wells planned to be drilled. Drilling has started since April 25, 2012. We?re currently drilling the fourth well. The three wells have increased production at the field,? Vice President of Chevron Indonesia Company, Yanto Sianipar, told Petromindo.com Thursday.

Yanto declined to provide further details of the drilling results in the Sapi field. ?The results are good. We obtain additional gas production. The exact figure (of production) should better come from BPMIGAS,? he said, referring to the upstream oil and gas regulator.
