Chevron hires Seadrill rig for West Seno: Report

US oil major Chevron Corp has planned to drill seven development wells on the West Seno field offshore East Kalimantan and work will be performed by the newbuild semi-submersible rig West Jaya of Oslo-listed Seadrill Ltd, industry news source Upstream said today.
The rig contract is subject to approval by the Indonesian authorities, Upstream said, without disclosing its sources. (*)
