Chevron Pacific Indonesia appoints IHRDC to develop competency job models

Boston-based International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC) said Monday it had signed an agreement with PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI) to develop competency job models and training plan for 800 Operations and Maintenance (O&M) personnel.

IHRDC said in a statement that it will apply its Competency Assurance Process (CAP) to meet the needs of CPI by assisting in the development and delivery a world-class training system built on international standards.

IHRDC?s CAP has been used to develop capable O&M personnel at drilling, oil and gas production, refining, gas processing and LNG facilities worldwide, according to the statement.

CPI, one of the major oil producers in Indonesia, operates several oil blocks in Riau province, with production of about 480,000 barrels per day. (Robert)
