Chevron proposes preliminary geothermal survey in Gueredong

Chevron Pacific Indonesia has submitted a proposal to the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry for a preliminary survey on geothermal resources in an area in Aceh.

?Chevron has requested preliminary survey in Gueredong, Aceh,? Jajang Sukarna, Secretary to the Directorate General of New Energy, Renewable and Energy Conversion at the Ministry, told petromindo.com.

Chevron is the only company that has submitted such proposal for a survey in the area, he added.
