Chevron?s EOR project ready for commissioning in mid November

Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Rudi Rubiandini said that the enhanced oil recovery (EOR) project at PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia?s Minas field in Riau was ready for commissioning in mid November of this year, hoping for a full scale run in 2021.
?The EOR project with surfactant polymer injection method which is a pilot project in the field has been 98 percent completed, and in mid November ready for commissioning, (and) is expected to be at full scale in 2021,? Rudi told Petromindo.com following a visit to the project on Friday.
?This (the project) is expected to be able to increase (oil production) by an additional 10 percent, or equal to 100,000 bopd in 2022,? he added.
