Chevron's Q4 Indonesian liquids output up 34%

U.S. oil giant Chevron Corp reported Friday its Indonesian net liquids production increased by 34 percent to 227,000 barrels per day (BPD) in the fourth quarter of 2005 from 193,000 BPD in the previous quarter.

Chevron said in its quarterly report that the production included former Unocal (Indonesian) volumes starting August 1, 2005. Chevron acquired Unocal last year.

Chevron Indonesian net liquids output, however, declined to 202,000 BPD last year from 222,000 BPD in 2004. (robert)
