Chevron submits E. Kalimantan gas fields PoD

US oil major Chevron Corp. said on Thursday it has submitted to BPMIGAS plan of development (PoD) for its Gehem and Gendalo gas fields in Ganal PSC offshore East Kalimantan.
Chevron IndoAsia Deputy Managing Director Suwito Anggoro told Petromindo.Com that the PoD was submitted by the end of July, but he did not give further detail.
A BPMIGAS official in March 2007 interview said that Chevron may bring Gehem and Gendalo into production in 2013.
Chevron has a number of significant gas portfolio from several PSCs in East Kalimantan following acquisition of oil, gas firm Unocal in 2005.(godang)
