Chevron targets next year for Bangka field FID

Chevron Indonesia Company (CiCo) expects to be able to come up with a final investment date (FID) on Bangka field of Indonesia Deepwater Development offshore Kalimantan sometimes next year.

"We are currently carrying out FEED (front engineering end design) and wait for FID next year for Bangka field, not gendolo-gehem," Senior VP Chevron Indonesia Company Yanto Sianipar told Petromindo.com.

Yanto added that four companies are conducting the FEED works, while the EPCI works would be determined after the availability of FID.

"We are actually in preparation for the EPCI bid plan, together with BPMIGAS. It's worth noting that we have a full support from BPMIGAS."
