Chevron to commence C. Sumatra block drilling

US oil giant Chevron Corp will drill one exploratory well in Kisaran onshore Block in Central Sumatra late May this year, Chevron Indonesia spokesperson Riniwaty Makmur said on Wednesday.
?Chevron Indonesia is currently preparing the drilling location,? she said.
Kisaran is operated by Chevron with 50 percent working interest. Hong Kong-based Pacific Oil & Gas has the remaining balance. Chevron acquired the block in 2001. The company?s drilling program in the block had been delayed several times.(godang)
