Chevron to speed up FID process this year

Chevron Indonesia Company (CICO) said that it will speed up the process of completing the final investment decision (FID) for projects that include the Indonesian deepwater development (IDD) in East Kalimantan to June this year.
"We?re pursuing to realize our target of completing the FID in June this year. We?ll work faster to finalize our projects,? Chevron Pacific Indonesia Vice President for Policy, Government and Public Affairs, Yanto Sianipar told petromindo.com in Jakarta on Saturday.
Yanto said that his company appreciated the step taken by upstream authority SKK Migas to set the year 2013 as the year of drilling.
"We fully support SKK Migas in its decision to make this year as the year of drilling,? he said.
