China?s Beijing Guohua Electric intends building minemouth power plant in S. Sumatra

China?s power company Beijing Guohua Electric Power Corporation has expressed interest to build a 2x135 megawatt- minemouth power plant in Musi Banyu Asin, South Sumatra, a senior official of state electricity company PLN told Petromindo.Com Monday.
The power facility had been planned to be built in Sungai Lilin in Musi Banyu Asin regency, PLN?s chief commissioner Luluk Soemiarso said after attending a meeting between a visiting delegation of the Chinese company?s officials and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro.
Luluk declined to mention suppliers of coal for the planned minemouth power plant.
Meanwhile, PLN?s financial director Parno Isworo told Petromindo.com that his company and Beijing Guohua Electric had held preliminary talks about electricity prices. (godang)
