Chinese independent firm JOVO has dropped its plan to buy two spot-market cargoes of LNG from the Bontang LNG plant in East Kalimantan.

?JOVO had previously ordered two standard (std) cargoes of LNG. However, the company did not have vessel and the approval was too late given, then the purchase is canceled,? an industry source told Petromindo.com.

But, JOVO has expressed its desire to ask for another cargo of LNG from Bontang, according to the source.

This portal reported earlier that JOVO purchased 0.5 uncontracted LNG cargoes from Bontang plant on the spot market overseas in December last year.
