China's plan on import tariff won't affect Adaro's exports

IDX-listed giant thermal coal producer PT Adaro Energy Tbk, said Chinese government?s plan to impose a 3 percent import tariff on low rank coal will not affect its export performance.

Corporate Secretary Devindra Ratzarwin told Petromindo.com on Thursday said China took only about 6 percent of the firm?s exports in 2012 and the portion fell to 5 percent in the first half of this year.

He said the firm is still on track to achieve its 2013 output target.
