China to help Indonesia develop small hydropower stations

China is ready to help Indonesia develop small hydropower stations, Asia Pulse quoted an official sources on Friday.
China has advanced technology in construction of small hydropower stations. With the aid of the United Nations, an international small hydropower center has been established in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang Province, with members from 60 countries and regions. The center offers training, consultation, labor and design and construction of small hydropower station services.
In cooperation with local governments in Indonesia, China plans to construct some demonstrative projects in West Kalimantan, West Sumatera, Pekanbaru, and South Sumatera. (*)
