Chinese investor mulls investing in Indonesia?s non-ferrous mining sector

The executives were from China Ferrous Metal Industry, Foreign Engineering and Construction Corporation (CNFC).
?They intend to invest in non-ferrous products like nickel, copper, bauxite and gold,? said Mahyudin Lubis who heads the mineral resources exploitation section at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources after attending Tuesday?s meeting between the ministry?s senior officials and the Chinese delegation.
The five-member delegation, headed by CNFC vice president Zou Qiao, was scheduled to visit several mining projects in Central Kalimantan including those operated by state-owned multifarious mining firm PT Aneka Tambang and private gold miners Kalimantan Surya Kencana and Kalimantan Gold Corporation.
